Degree and Minimum GPA
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • 3.0 minimum undergraduate GPA
TranscriptsOfficial transcripts from all schools attended are necessary to apply

  • Two letters of recommendation from academic or professional references
  • Personal Statement
  • Professional Résumé
  • Students without business knowledge in statistics, management science, and information systems may need to take extra 1-credit foundational courses (i.e., the foundation modules MBA 501A, MBA 501B and MBA 501C)

International Students

International students must also meet the following requirements:

Students from non-English-speaking countries must take the TOEFL, IELTS or STEP to verify English proficiency
Transcript Evaluation

Official transcripts translated to English OR a transcript evaluation completed from World Education Service or Educational Credential Evaluators.

International students are not eligible for federal financial aid. Though you can complete an online program while living outside the U.S., online study with Scranton does not qualify you to apply for, transfer, or extend a visa.

Transfer Credit

The MS in Business Analytics accepts up to 6 transfer credits to be used toward the completion of the degree. In order for the credits to be considered for transfer into the program, the courses must have been completed at AACSB-accredited institutions and may satisfy the requirements of any of the listed courses that comprise the MS in Business Analytics curriculum.
